根据《工人调整和再培训通知法案（WARN）》，企业在实施大规模裁员前必须发出通知。根据WARNTracker网站的数据，共有114家公司预计将裁员。

美国经济正在对政府行动作出反应，包括对全球各国实施的广泛关税，以及制造业等众多行业的应对措施。

本月预计的裁员可能表明经济仍不稳定，商业领域缺乏明确性。与7月份约95家雇主裁员相比，裁员前景有所增加。但与6月份约160家公司裁员相比，总体裁员数量有所减少。

裁员信息

裁员将影响多个行业，包括零售、软件、制药、食品饮料、医疗保健、包裹递送等。

各公司和地区的裁员情况各不相同。一些公司计划裁员1至25人。其他公司的行动则更为激进，包括微软、Georgia-Pacific和Pixelle Specialty Solutions，每家公司预计将裁员501至1000人。

“我总体的回答是，[川普]想做的事情，如果不拖垮经济就无法实现。他能做一些比他鼓吹的事情更温和的措施吗？是的，他可以采取一些措施来微调系统，甚至可能带来好处。但目前他说的或写的都不是这些。”

FOX在7月18日至21日进行的一项调查中，随机选取了1000名选民，发现32%的人对经济状况给予正面评价——这是大约一年来的最高数字，比此前高出1个百分点。在个人层面，44%的人对自己的财务状况给予正面评价，高于3月的39%和12月的38%。
