ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
l Assemble any of the products or assemblies in their area of responsibility.
l Design and build a tool at their supervisor's direction.
l Write work instructions at their supervisor's direction.
l Solve basic problems at their supervisor's direction.
l Employees are expected to follow instructions, procedures and to escalate any issue impacting workflow, quality, etc. Additionally, there are high value items that require proper care and protection.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
AA/AS/Technical Degree and 2 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations in English. Must be able to write technical reports, business correspondence, procedure manuals, and create instructional reference material.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Must have the ability to subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Must be capable to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Must have ability to comprehend and apply concepts relating to geometrical dimensional tolerances. In addition, must have the ability to convert constants and values between differing units of measure. In addition, will need to apply concepts such as, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Must have the ability to apply principles of logical and scientific thinking as well as work with a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. In the most difficult phases must be able to deal with nonverbal symbolism such as formulas, scientific equations, graphs, musical notes, etc. Must have the ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
