Master degree at USA

Hi all,
I am preparing to apply for a master degree on Computer Science.
As far as I know that, I have to take GRE, TOEFL / IELTS, how about other preparations?
Do I need to prepare other things?
I am now thinking of going to USA at 2013. I found that most of the program has passed the deadline for this year. So I have to wait for 2013.
Since there is not many people can help, could I ask about yours experience?

Hi there, Summary, 1. GRE(grneral) & Tofel. 2. Google " U.S. News Ranks Best Graduate Schools - US News and World Report". 3. Google "How to apply graduate school in U.S. / Graduate School Admissions 101. etc...". 4. Shoot your inquiries to admission offices. 5. Comply with the requirements / per school. 6. Logon account & check status (i.e. Online or School Portal). Just my two cents, Have a good one!

thanks a lot for all your replys!! After seeing your reply, I know that the requirements vary with different college. I will take a closer look to it. Let me talk about my background, I am comming from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, BEng of Computer Engineering, Second Upper Honor~ Which school should I apply for? I don't have any ideas/^\ can I ask for yours opinions? PS: I have added one of the replier's QQ above.

Unlike major colleges, some and many Private Colleges' deadline to summit applications would be last until as late as March of each year. some even last later till May or so. depending on what kind of school are you going to apply. Besides the examines you named, if you can provide your graduate school transcripts as well as referrers would be great helper.
