Position Overview:
The client is a fast-growing retail company with large customer pool in the physical market. The company serves Asian communities and beyond with high popularity in the field. As the company branch into the online market, they are looking for a QA Specialist to play a critical role in building and optimizing their E-Commerce app/platform/systems.
Responsibilities:
· Perform functional and exploratory testing of systems to identify inconsistencies and areas for improvement.
· Contribute to the development and maintenance of testing frameworks and test scripts.
· Develop and execute test cases and test plans, documenting test results and reporting any issues or bugs discovered during the testing process.
· Conduct thorough analysis of system requirements and specifications to provide valuable input during the development and planning phases.
· Monitor and track defects through their lifecycle, ensuring appropriate prioritization, resolution, and verification of fixes.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to ensure smooth integration and delivery of high-quality software.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experiences are welcomed.
· 0-3 years of professional experiences in QA. Experiences with automated testing is highly desirable.
· Must be able to work fully on-site in Los Angeles, 5 days a week.
· Solid understanding of software development life cycle and quality assurance methodologies.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
· Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English, both spoken and written, is strongly preferred.
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
