In terms of Data Center Technician, we are looking for candidates who are at home administrating and supporting a Linux production and corporate environment. The primary focus of this position will include a variety of day-to-day Linux Server administration and maintenance, Tech support, workstation maintenance, system replacement and upgrade tasks. Other special projects related to the ongoing enhancement of our infrastructure, software products and services.

Job responsibilities
· Installing, configuring and maintain servers and networks.
· Overseeing system performance and troubleshooting issues.
· Performing system upgrades following new releases.
· Sustaining network integrity, server deployment, and security.
· Monitoring and maintaining networks, servers and processes
· Adding, removing, or updating user account information, resetting passwords, etc.
· Answering technical queries and assisting users.
· Responsibility for security.
· Responsibility for documenting the configuration of the system.
· Troubleshooting any reported problems.
· System performance tuning.
· Make recommendations for future hardware and software upgrades.
· Remote administration of equipment in co-location facilities
· Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
· Minimum 2-year experience working in a Linux environment.
· Minimum 1 year experience troubleshooting network and computer related problems.
· Minimum 1 year experience in coin mining
· Familiar with blockchain industry is a plus
· Solid understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems, common commands, and administrative tasks.
· Experience with many of the technologies outlined above.
· A strong desire to learn new technologies and products.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to work with a team in multicultural environments.
· Ability to independently research and find solutions to problems.
· Ability to help users over the phone.
· Available to work nights and weekends as needed.
· Excellent attention to detail.
· Applicable industry certifications are preferred but not required.
